Dining Room
The cabinets are ordered and I am working on the rest of the house. I went to school for typography and have worked with typefaces for 25 years so I LOVE putting words on my walls. First wall (dining room) is done.

This is amazingly creative, but why am I not surprised~! It's lovely and unique, wherever did you find the big spoon and fork?
ReplyDeleteI bought the words at www.lacybella.com. You can choose the size and color. It comes on one sheet and you rub it on the wall. Very easy. The office would be a great place to put something up that would inspire you.
ReplyDeleteThe fork and spoon I bought at Pier 1. They even have a knife and spatula, I didn't want to get carried away though. I was looking for wood ones but these are more fun.

My question is how did you get all of the pictures hung so straight? Everytime I attempt to do that they are all over the place and the wall behind the pictures looks like Swiss Cheese!
ReplyDeleteThe frames are from a kit that we bought for our old house. We had them going up the stairs. They give you a huge guide to tape to the wall and tell you exactly where to put the nail. However, we didn't have it any longer so I did a lot of measuring. And yes there are about 20 wrong holes under the frames. It took HOURS to get it right.
